How to transfer calls from home to mobile
Check your carrier’s call forwarding policy. The easiest way to learn about call forwarding is to call your carrier directly.Turn on call forwarding if necessary.
- Open your device’s Phone app .
- Tap Recents .
Activate the phone’s buzzer.
This can usually be done by picking up the handset or pressing the talk button on a cordless phone.Select the forwarding service. Typically, you type *72 (Verizon or Sprint) or *21* (AT&T or T-Mobile) into your phone and press the call button, which is usually a green phone-shaped button.
Call forwarding codes vary by region. If you don’t know what your phone’s call forwarding code is, check your phone’s owner’s manual or website.
Listen to the beep.
You should hear a beep or sound prompting you to enter the phone number you want to access.
Enter your mobile number. Enter the 10- or 11-digit number to which you want to forward your home phone.Select the pound sign to complete the installation. To do this, press the # button on your home phone. On some home phones, you may need to press the call button again after this.
