How to Lose Weight With Food Cleansing?

Diet detox, juice cleanse and body cleanse have become very popular in recent years. While there are many benefits to clearing your diet and focusing on healthy foods, many dietary detoxes or cleansings are unsafe and unhealthy. Health experts warn that these types of foods can be dangerous (especially if consumed long-term). They can cause muscle loss, electrolyte imbalances, and malnutrition. [1] Also, most of the weight lost in these plans comes from water, not fat. Once you stop cleaning and start eating normally again, weight loss becomes normal. [2] Instead of following a cleanse plan to lose weight, clean up your diet and stay active. Stay and break bad habits.

Eat fiber-rich foods.

Fruits and vegetables are two foods that are an important part of a clean and healthy diet. They are rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber. All of these properties are important for a healthy and clean diet.
Include one to two servings of fiber-rich vegetables or fruits with each meal. This will help you meet the minimum recommendation of five to nine servings per day. Serving size depends on your age and weight; however, adding more fruits and vegetables can help increase the amount of nutrients you can get from them.
A serving of fruit is usually one small fruit or about half a cup of chopped fruit. A serving of vegetables is 1 or 2 cups of leafy greens. [4]
One of the great things about long-lasting cleansing products is that they’re high in fiber. They can purify you from within. However, adding lots of fruits and vegetables can provide you with plenty of natural fiber for the same cleaning properties.
Focus on fruits and vegetables with the highest fiber content. Include at least one serving of these high-fiber foods with each meal: cauliflower, broccoli, artichokes, Brussels sprouts, berries (such as raspberries, blueberries, or blackberries), apples, or pears. [5]

Eat dark green vegetables every day.

Dark green leafy vegetables are packed with healthy nutrients. Eating just one or two servings of these foods a day can help clean up your diet by providing you with more fiber, antioxidants, and other nutrients. They are even touted as one of the best anti-cancer products. [6]
The dark green can be eaten raw or cooked. Try: kale, mustard greens, spinach, kale, kale, or beets.
Dark green leafy vegetables contain many nutrients, including: vitamins A, K, C, and E. They also contain folate (important for DNA replication and repair) and carotenoids (an antioxidant thought to prevent cancer). [7]
Mix with dark green eggs, scramble with a dash of olive oil and garlic for a nutritious side dish, or use in salads.

Eat whole grains without experimentation.

100% whole grains are another nutrient-dense food group. They contain protein, vitamins, and are also a good source of fiber. If you’re interested in cleaning up and improving your diet, change your grain choices to 100% whole grains.
Whole grains give you many benefits. Choose beans that are minimally processed and contain few additives. For example, instead of whole-wheat couscous with spice packets, make regular whole-wheat couscous and add your own herbs at home.
Examples of other unprocessed whole grains include 100% whole grain pasta, 100% whole grain bread, brown rice, quinoa, and oats.
Avoid refined, processed grains. Some grains, such as refined or processed grains, have little nutritional value in your diet. They’re high in calories, low in nutrients, and can cause constipation (because they’re low in fiber). Swap grains like white bread, white rice, or plain pasta for whole grains. [9]
