Today’s B Fit Tip comes from our guest blogger Michael Scipione. Not only is he a personal trainer, but also a fantastic chef who makes eating healthy food fun.
Michael is breaking down the difference between Mono and Saturated Fats!
Mono-unsaturated fatty foods as opposed to Saturated. Mono fat is a healthy fat found in olive, canola, and grape seed oils, fish such as salmon, avocados and almonds just to name a few. This fats help burn fat and make you fuller, faster. … They contain more healthy calories, which is a good thing. Take notice, eating a piece of salmon as opposed to flounder, will satisfy your hunger, leaving less room for extra unwanted carbs. Be sure to pair your fish with brown rice, sweet potato and a side of hearty veggies and turn your body into a fat burning machine.
Michael Scipione is not only as an expert in physical fitness, social responsibility and a leader in health conscious ingenuity, but he’s proving every day that meals can be fresh, delicious and wonderful for the waistline.
